Learn traditional techniques like the old masters on how to start a painting in oil. Under the expert tuition of professionl artists Cassandra Batterby & John Rotherham, in this session you will learn about proportion, line and volume and tone. The processes we teach you will prove that anybody can learn to paint from life, and the session promises to transform the way you start an oil painting. It will build your confidence in mark making and enabling you to go on and confidently begin oil paintings of your own.

Age: 16 years of age and upwards
All abilities welcome. Absolute beginners with no oil painting experience to established practitioners looking to improve and develop their skills.
Class sizes are small (max 6 students) to ensure you receive a unique, high quality learning experience from artists Cassandra Batterby and John Rotherham, who are both on hand for guidance and tutoring.
