Like music, colour inspires our emotions. This session is an introduction into the world of colour using oil paint. Based on traditional techniques, you will use a palette of four colours to explore colour mixing. Professional artists Cassandra Batterby and John Rotherham will show you how a small range of colours can be used to create lifelike paintings in oil. The class will transform your knowledge of colour, and increase your confidence in painting in oils.

Age: 16 years of age and upwards
All abilities welcome. Absolute beginners with no oil painting experience to established practitioners looking to improve and develop their skills.
Class sizes are small (max 6 students) to ensure you receive a unique, high quality learning experience from artists Cassandra Batterby and John Rotherham, who are both on hand for guidance and tutoring.
